Small and Larger Scale Hydro Excavation Operations

Badger Daylighting is proud to be the best hydro excavating company in the West Texas area. Our experienced staff and non-destructive hydrovac equipment means that our services are the most reliable and efficient in the industry. Moreover, the tools we use allow us to conduct a wide variety of excavations, which gives our company the ability to service several industries.

Small scale and minimal hydro excavation operations

Our hydrovac excavators are capable of conducting standard trenching, potholing, and tracing of underground infrastructures such as those required for gas, oil, water, sewer, and electrical excavations. These tasks can be performed faster and with less debris generation than other excavating methods by using hydro excavation. This process makes cleanup easier and less time consuming.

Larger scale hydro excavation operations

We also conduct larger excavations such as those required for the removal of topsoil for the pouring of a concrete slab. Our excavators can also drill large pipe runs to be used for electrical installation, as well as for buried tanks and storage vessels. Further, we can do pillar installations and dead men-anchoring. Our hydro excavation equipment may also be used for the removal of mud and for pressure testing low-pressure lines.

Non-standard hydro excavation tasks

Of course, not every hydro excavation is typical and there are a number of specialty applications we can apply our excavating equipment to. If you have a silo or bin that needs emptied, we can safely remove the grain so that it won’t be contaminated or lost. We can also evacuate rail cars that have been overfilled or remove grain from beneath scales and within gins. Performing these tasks lowers the risk of cross contamination as well as grain damage from excess heat, water, or fire.
